On Wednesday, 25th March, during the very first webinar, the event welcomed Rich Dad, Poor Dad co-founder, Sharon Lechter. Sharon is a an entrepreneur, international speaker, best-selling author, mentor, philanthropist, licensed CPA and a Chartered Global Management Accountant, Sharon Lechter is the premier expert for financial literacy and entrepreneurial success.
During the webinar, Sharon answered questions discussing her story and how the whole Rich Dad, Poor Dad brand came to be and her journey since then, including working as a financial adviser to two presidents, seeing a number of her books appear on the bestseller lists and she’s now been invited to speak on Oprah’s chat show! She also spoke and advised business owners who are struggling during the coronavirus pandemic and also discussed how finding positivity in adversity is so important.
Sharon then took questions from the audience before passing the session on to Peter Wilcock and Sally Cassidy. Sally heads up the Traveleads sales team providing a wealth of experience in travel management and business travel solutions, she has worked with clients across a broad spectrum of industries and looks forward to bringing her expertise to your organisation. Peter is the former COO of Virgin Media and now works as the business mentor to the Evans Property Group. Peter spent over a decade at cable giant Virgin Media, and was the driving force behind the growth of cable TV and broadband across the UK. Following his success with Virgin, Peter then made the leap from corporate executive to entrepreneur – including investing in several businesses.
