From Digital Chats to Real World Networking: Building Genuine Business Connections

I remember a time when building a professional network meant a firm handshake and looking someone in the eye. My phone buzzes, pulling me back to the present. It’s another LinkedIn notification. In this digital age, our professional lives often unfold through screens. We amass connections, but how many become true relationships?

I’ve felt the strange emptiness that can follow a day of back to back video calls. You’ve been ‘with’ people all day, yet you can feel utterly alone. Technology bridges distances, but it often struggles to replicate the energy of a shared laugh in a room. That’s the human connection we instinctively crave.

This realisation sparked a significant shift in my approach. I began to see my digital interactions not as the end goal, but as the first step. They are the initial hello, the virtual coffee chat that lays the groundwork for something more substantial. The real magic often happens when we step into the same world.

This guide is my map for that journey. It’s about transforming those initial digital contacts into collaborative partnerships that create lasting value. Let’s explore how to build a network that feels as rich and supportive offline as it looks online.

Key Takeaways

  • Recognise the limitations of purely digital interactions for building deep professional relationships.
  • Understand the increasing value of in person meetings in a digitally saturated world.
  • Learn to use digital tools as a strategic starting point for connection, not the final destination.
  • Discover practical methods for moving conversations from a screen to a shared space.
  • Appreciate that some of the most powerful business partnerships are built on genuine human connection.
  • Gain insights into balancing your digital and physical networking efforts for maximum impact.

Introduction: Navigating the New Networking Landscape

A bustling city skyline at dusk, with glimmering skyscrapers and busy streets below. In the foreground, a diverse group of people engage in lively conversations, their faces lit by the warm glow of streetlamps. Hands are extended, coffee cups are shared, and connections are forged amid the urban landscape. The mood is one of serendipitous encounters, authentic interactions, and the power of human connection in the digital age. A wide-angle lens captures the scene, emphasizing the sense of community and the shared experience of modern networking.

We’re living through a profound transformation in how business relationships are cultivated. I recall chamber of commerce meetings where a handshake sealed a connection. Today, many professionals build entire networks through screens.

This shift brings both opportunity and a unique challenge. Digital platforms make initial contact incredibly easy. But they can leave us craving the authenticity of a shared physical space.

Shifting from Online Chats to Real World Engagement

It’s not about abandoning technology. It’s about recognising its role as a brilliant starting point. A LinkedIn message is a great hello, but it shouldn’t be the final conversation.

In my experience, many people remember the energy of a face to face meeting more vividly than another notification. These genuine interactions build a foundation that purely digital exchanges often lack.

Why Meaningful In Person Connections Matter

Trust is the currency of successful business. And trust is often built most effectively when we engage with people beyond their digital profiles. Think about the last time someone was more focused on their phone than on you during a conversation. That’s phubbing, and it can erode connection.

Meaningful connections foster collaboration and mentorship. They create opportunities for growth that simply don’t emerge from a screen. In a world saturated with digital noise, the human element becomes your greatest advantage.

The Digital Foundation of Connection

Our professional world now operates on a digital foundation, where the first handshake often happens through a screen. I’ve learned to appreciate how these initial digital touchpoints create the essential groundwork for meaningful relationships. They serve as the modern introduction, replacing traditional business cards with digital profiles.

The right technology tools make this foundation strong. Each platform serves a unique purpose in building rapport before any physical meeting occurs.

Role of Social Media, Messaging, and Video Calls

A bustling co-working space, sunlight streaming through large windows, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. In the foreground, a group of professionals engaged in animated discussions, exchanging ideas and forging meaningful connections. The middle ground features people networking over coffee, sharing business cards and making plans to collaborate. In the background, a mix of private meeting areas and open collaboration zones, reflecting the dynamic and flexible nature of modern business interactions. The overall scene conveys a sense of productivity, creativity, and the genuine exchange of knowledge and opportunities.

Social media provides unprecedented access to industry leaders and potential collaborators. Platforms like LinkedIn allow me to research people’s expertise and identify shared interests. This preparation makes first conversations more meaningful and productive.

Messaging platforms maintain consistent contact between meetings. They keep relationships warm and demonstrate ongoing interest. I’ve found regular, brief check ins more valuable than occasional long messages.

Video calls have revolutionised how we build initial rapport. Seeing facial expressions and hearing voice tones creates connection that text cannot convey. Many professionals now use video calls as part of their networking process.

Setting the Stage for Warm Introductions

Effective digital communication establishes context and credibility before meetings. It transforms strangers into familiar contacts. I approach each interaction as an opportunity to demonstrate genuine interest.

Different platforms serve distinct purposes in this journey. Understanding when to use each tool maximizes their impact.

Platform Type Primary Purpose Best For
Professional Networks Discovery & Research Identifying shared interests
Video Technology Building Rapport Establishing personal connection
Messaging Apps Maintaining Contact Keeping relationships warm

This strategic approach to digital communication creates a solid foundation. It ensures that when we finally meet in person, we’re building on established familiarity rather than starting from scratch.

From Online to Offline: Transitioning Digital Connections to Real World Relationships

The true turning point in any professional relationship often arrives when we step out from behind our screens. I’ve found that this shift is where casual contacts transform into collaborative partnerships. It’s a deliberate step that adds a layer of depth and authenticity that purely digital exchanges often cannot match.

Meeting someone at a conference or a local business meet up does something remarkable. Research and experience alike suggest it can build trust on a more human level. You share a handshake, observe body language, and experience the energy of a real conversation. These moments create a shared memory, a solid foundation for future collaboration.

Of course, this journey isn’t always seamless. The person you meet might be different from their polished online persona. I approach this with curiosity, not criticism. It’s a chance to know the real individual behind the profile.

To bridge this gap successfully, I’ve learnt to be transparent. After establishing a good rapport online, I might say, “I’ll be at the Tech Innovators conference next month; it would be great to continue this conversation in person.” This makes the transition feel like a natural next step, not a forced event.

The magic truly happens when digital foundations are strengthened by physical presence. It’s the combination that forges some of the most powerful and lasting business relationships.

Building Genuine Business Connections

I’ve discovered that the most valuable professional relationships are those built on authentic engagement rather than transactional exchanges. They’re the partnerships where both parties genuinely care about each other’s success.

Defining What Genuine Connections Look Like

Authentic business relationships thrive on mutual respect and shared values. They involve emotional investment that goes beyond simple networking. I’ve found these connections develop gradually through consistent, meaningful interactions.

True partnerships are characterised by understanding someone’s challenges and celebrating their victories. They create a foundation of trust that withstands business fluctuations.

Beyond LinkedIn Invites and Business Cards

Genuine connections require more than digital invitations. They demand presence, vulnerability, and long term perspective. I always prioritise quality over quantity in my professional network.

These meaningful relationships enrich our careers by creating authentic human connection. They transform colleagues into mentors and contacts into collaborators.

Superficial Contact Genuine Connection Key Differentiator
Transaction focused Relationship focused Long term perspective
Surface level interaction Emotional investment Authentic engagement
Immediate returns expected Mutual value creation Shared success mindset

The most rewarding professional relationships I’ve built combine business alignment with personal resonance. They demonstrate that true connection transcends mere networking.

Preparing Your Digital Presence

Your digital presence is your first impression in today’s business world. I treat my online profiles as my virtual business cards, ensuring they reflect my professional identity accurately.

Optimising Your Profile and Communication Strategies

I start with a professional photo and compelling headline across all platforms. These elements create immediate credibility. My experience sections tell a story of growth and expertise.

Clear communication is essential. I maintain consistent messaging styles using various digital tools. This builds trust before any meeting occurs.

  • Audit your social media profiles regularly
  • Align your visual presentation with professional goals
  • Share insights that demonstrate thought leadership
  • Engage meaningfully with others’ content

Establishing a Consistent Online Persona

Consistency doesn’t mean being artificial. It means presenting a coherent professional story. Your social media presence should make people want to know you better.

I ensure my online connection requests feel genuine. Each interaction sets the stage for future collaboration. This careful preparation makes transitioning to in person meetings feel natural.

Your digital foundation determines how successfully relationships develop. Invest time in getting it right from the start.

Nurturing Authentic Online Interactions

What transforms a casual online contact into a trusted business partner often comes down to how we nurture those initial interactions. I’ve discovered this is where meaningful relationships either flourish or fade away.

Offering Value Without Immediate Requests

The most successful professional relationships I’ve built started with me giving before asking. This approach creates genuine connection rather than transactional exchanges.

Digital minimalism teaches us to focus on meaningful interactions. I practice active listening even in written conversations, remembering details that show I truly care.

Traditional Approach Authentic Approach Relationship Impact
Immediate requests Value first mindset Builds trust gradually
Generic messages Personalised engagement Creates emotional bonds
Quantity focused Quality interactions Leads to deeper connection

As one networking expert observed, “The best relationships are built on mutual value, not immediate transactions.” This philosophy has transformed how I approach every new contact.

Balancing Professionalism and Personal Touch

Finding the right balance between business focus and human connection makes interactions memorable. I share professional insights while revealing appropriate personal values.

  1. Start with genuine curiosity about their work and challenges
  2. Offer relevant resources or introductions without expectation
  3. Maintain consistent but not overwhelming engagement over time
  4. Share appropriate personal stories that reinforce professional values

This careful balance ensures every interaction builds toward meaningful collaboration. The time invested pays dividends when relationships progress naturally.

The Transition to In Person Networking

There’s a special energy that fills the room when you finally meet someone in person after months of digital chats. That initial handshake or shared smile instantly adds a new layer to your relationship. It moves the connection from theoretical to tangible.

Leveraging Conferences, Business Events and Meet ups

Industry gatherings are perfect for this crucial step. I always scan attendee lists and reach out to connections beforehand. Suggesting a coffee or planning to attend a session together makes the meeting feel natural.

These settings provide a rich backdrop for creating shared experiences. Discussing a keynote speaker or navigating the exhibition hall together builds a common story.

Event Type Best For Relationship Impact
Large Conferences Meeting multiple contacts Broadens network efficiently
Small Business Meet ups Deeper conversations Fosters emotional intimacy
Workshops Collaborative learning Creates strong shared memories

Enhancing Depth, Trust and Authenticity Through Face to Face Time

Physical presence allows us to pick up on subtle cues that screens hide. You see how someone interacts with others and handles spontaneous moments. This often builds trust more quickly.

One mentor wisely told me, “You can’t truly know someone until you’ve shared a meal or a challenging moment with them.” This authenticity is the foundation of lasting partnerships.

These real world interactions create a depth of connection that accelerates professional relationships. The time invested pays back in stronger, more collaborative bonds.

Key Behaviours for Successful Networking

After years of building my professional network, I’ve identified specific behaviours that consistently create meaningful business relationships. The most successful connections aren’t accidental. They’re cultivated through intentional actions that demonstrate genuine care.

I’ve found that moving beyond transactional exchanges requires conscious effort. Authenticity in our relationships means showing up with genuine interest rather than hidden agendas.

Being Genuinely Interested in Others

The most critical behaviour involves truly caring about other individuals. I make a point of asking thoughtful questions and listening deeply to understand their challenges and aspirations.

This means remembering details about people’s lives and following up on previous conversations. These small gestures demonstrate that I value them beyond their professional utility.

When we approach networking with curiosity rather than calculation, we create connections built on mutual understanding. People respond powerfully to authentic interest.

Providing Value Before Asking for Favours

I always begin with the question, “How can I help this person?” rather than “What can I gain?” This mindset shift transforms outcomes dramatically.

Offering resources, introductions, or insights without immediate expectations establishes trust. It positions us as generous contributors rather than value extractors.

Transactional Approach Relational Approach Impact on Relationships
Focuses on immediate gains Prioritises long term connection Builds foundation of trust
Generic interactions Personalised engagement Creates emotional resonance
Seeks quick returns Invests in mutual success Fosters lasting partnerships

These key behaviours distinguish memorable networkers from forgettable ones. They transform casual contacts into collaborative relationships that withstand business challenges.

Embracing Digital Minimalism in a Tech Saturated World

I discovered a powerful antidote to digital overwhelm that transformed my networking approach completely. Digital minimalism isn’t about rejecting technology entirely. It’s about using it with purpose. This philosophy helped me reclaim precious time and focus for what truly matters in business relationships.

Decluttering Your Digital Life for More Focused Interactions

We operate in an environment where countless platforms compete for our attention. I began by auditing which digital spaces actually served my professional goals. This decluttering process created mental clarity for more meaningful digital communication.

I now practice designated tech free time zones during important networking moments. This ensures I’m fully present rather than distracted by devices. In my experience, the quality of my connections has improved dramatically as a result.

Digital minimalism teaches us that technology should enhance rather than dominate our interactions. By consciously choosing when to engage with platforms, we create space for deeper, more authentic business relationships that stand the test of time.

The Power of Nonverbal Communication in Real World Connections

I’ve come to realise that the most powerful business connections are forged through the silent language our bodies speak. This unspoken communication can create immediate trust and understanding that months of digital chats may not fully deliver.

Our body language speaks volumes before we even exchange words. A confident posture, genuine smile, or firm handshake conveys authenticity in ways screens often cannot capture. These subtle cues help build rapport quickly.

I pay close attention to facial expressions during conversations. They reveal genuine emotions that help me respond with appropriate empathy. This nuanced communication strengthens relationships beyond what words alone can achieve.

The power of physical presence creates lasting memories. A simple handshake or shared space builds connection that purely digital interactions often miss. This rich tapestry of nonverbal cues can accelerate relationship development dramatically.

I consciously project openness through my own body language and expressions. This authentic communication ensures my nonverbal signals align with my verbal message. The result is deeper, more meaningful business relationships.

Strategies for Converting Digital Chats to Offline Meetings

Turning online conversations into valuable in person partnerships requires a deliberate, step by step approach I’ve refined over years. This systematic process supports smooth transitions that build trust naturally.

I begin with establishing genuine rapport through thoughtful text based communication. This foundation sets the stage for more personal interactions.

Step by Step Approach: From Online Initiation to In Person Follow Up

The journey starts with meaningful digital exchanges that demonstrate mutual interest. I focus on understanding the other person’s goals and challenges.

Next comes the crucial video call phase. This bridges the gap beautifully, allowing us to assess chemistry and build comfort.

Stage Primary Goal Key Success Factor
Initial Text Exchange Establish Rapport Genuine interest in their work
Video Introduction Build Personal Connection Authentic communication style
In Person Meeting Deepen Relationship Shared experiences and value

Utilising Video Calls and Small Gatherings as Transitional Steps

Video technology serves as a helpful middle ground. It allows for richer communication than text while being less intimidating than immediate face to face meetings.

I suggest coffee meetings or casual lunches for first encounters. These settings encourage natural conversation without pressure.

Maintaining Relationships Across Digital and Real World Channels

The follow up process is essential for sustaining connection. I send personalised messages referencing our discussion and suggesting next steps.

Balancing digital check ins with periodic in person meetings creates rhythm. This approach maintains the relationship’s depth across both channels.

Conclusion

Looking back at my professional journey, I’ve found that the most rewarding moments weren’t measured in connection counts but in the depth of genuine relationships. The strategies we’ve explored transform casual contacts into meaningful partnerships that create lasting value.

This approach blends the efficiency of digital platforms with the irreplaceable power of face to face communication. It’s about using technology as a bridge to richer human experiences, not as a replacement for them.

I encourage you to reflect on your networking habits. Are you building authentic relationships or simply collecting contacts? The quality of your professional connections will define your success in this digital world.

Remember, the most powerful business partnerships often combine strategic digital engagement with the warmth of personal interaction. This balanced approach creates the emotional intimacy that makes professional relationships truly meaningful and enduring.

FAQ

How can I bridge the gap between a digital introduction and a real world business relationship?

The key is to gradually build trust and shared experiences. Start with meaningful online interactions that offer value. Then, suggest a low pressure, face to face meeting, like a coffee or a video call, to deepen the connection. This process helps shift the relationship from text based communication to one with emotional intimacy and authentic body language.

What are the best ways to maintain relationships across both digital platforms and in person interactions?

Consistency is crucial. Use digital tools for regular, light touch communication, sharing relevant articles or checking in. For deeper bonding, prioritise quality offline time at events or small gatherings. The goal is a seamless blend, where technology supports the relationship without replacing genuine human connection.

How important is body language and facial expressions when transitioning an online connection offline?

Incredibly important. Nonverbal cues are a huge part of building trust and understanding. In person meetings allow you to read these subtle signals, which are missing in text based communication. This enhances conflict resolution and fosters a more profound sense of authenticity in your professional relationships.

What strategies help set realistic expectations before meeting a digital contact in person?

Clear communication is essential. Discuss the purpose of the meeting beforehand and align on shared values or goals. A brief video call can also help manage expectations by giving a clearer sense of personality beyond a profile, making the first real world interaction feel more natural.

How can I use video calls effectively as a transitional step before an in person meeting?

Video calls are a fantastic tool. They add a human touch missing from messages, allowing you to observe facial expressions and tone of voice. Use them to have more substantial conversations, build rapport, and create a comfortable foundation. This makes the eventual shift to sharing physical spaces much smoother.

The People Behind the Smile at Escape Records

We’re very excited about this week’s collaboration as we’re teaming up with Cardiff-based events company, Escape Records. It’s highly likely that you’ve heard of events such as Colour Clash, or Party in the Park, and Escape Records is the incredible team behind them. We asked Natalie Talbot, Brand Partnership Manager at Escape Records all about the secret behind their success and how they’ve managed to actually expand during the pandemic.

1. Tell us a little bit more about Escape Records and how you’ve established yourselves to be the go-to company when it comes to hosting events and festivals?

Escape records exist to create and deliver unmatched music experience for our ever-growing community, whilst looking to deliver on our core values of fun, accessibility, sustainability, wellbeing, people, and quality.

The roots of our musical journey are woven into the nightclub scene of Cardiff and the surrounding cities. Our founders have spent their lives living and breathing the music scene, with Adam and Mark forming and operating their own events business for the past 10 years. Jamie Watkins then came on board after working with companies such as Defected Records, and together they formed Escape records. Their vision was to take their passion for music outside of the four walls and into the open air, with the first event being held in Newport with the launch of festivals, such as Party at the Park and Colour Clash.

An overwhelmingly positive reception from the community led to the formation and launch of Inside out Cardiff. Next, came the innovation and grit from a determined team, which led to working toward the first European festivals held in Amsterdam and Ibiza. The founder hopes to deliver Wales’ largest festival, the In It Together festival in 2022. We have also expanded the business to host comedy shows, supper clubs, and much more.

With exponential growth to our event portfolio annually, for both indoor and outdoor events, Escape Records now has the capacity to entertain up to 900,000 people a year. It’s a pretty exciting business to be a part of at the moment!

2. Exactly how much planning goes into hosting events of this magnitude and how do you keep your team motivated?

An extensive amount of planning goes into our events and as soon as the festival season ends, we are straight on planning the next. We have a great culture here at the office and it’s an extremely enjoyable place to work. Everyone gets on well and we often have social gatherings together after work. Because of this relaxed, enjoyable environment motivates people to give their all.

3. The last year or so has been difficult for all sorts of industries, however, the events and hospitality industry has been hit particularly hard. How have you adapted to the changing needs of your customers and sponsors?

We’ve been very lucky. A lot of hospitality businesses have closed over the past year, but we’ve actually expanded the businesses and are set to expand even further over the next few months. Escape Records is a very exciting business to be part of at the moment because we are completely dominating the events industry in Wales, which is an amazing achievement for us.

4. You’ve worked on a number of important projects that have highlighted some important areas – how important is this to you as a business and what is your aim when doing so?

All of our projects are important to us. We recently hosted a charity event for Mind, where we attempted to raise over £5000 by walking 5000 miles between the team. Mental health is extremely important to us at Escape Records, which is why we are dedicating a specific area at our large festival next year to mental health. This area will include mindfulness and yoga classes, as well as talks to help people with their mental health. Our leading partner, Samten, will be hosting this area accompanied by another wonderful mindfulness company, Live the Retreat, who will have a presence at our festivals, which is also very exciting.

5. The events and hospitality industry is extremely popular and finding ways to stand out from the rest can be difficult. How do you ensure that your events are always creative, fun, and encourage people to come back for more?

We have an amazing operations manager Laura, who has an extremely creative mind. With a strong team of visual architects behind her, she can really bring their ideas to life.

6. You encourage businesses to sponsor your events – what are the benefits of doing so?

We have some fantastic sponsorship and partnership opportunities for businesses. It’s a great way for them to get their products or services in front of our vibrant community. We offer sponsorship opportunities for the main stages at our events, where your brand could be aligned with headliners such as Chase and Status, Rudimental, MK, and J Hus. As a sponsor, you could also take advantage of our activation pitches, where you’re able to sell your product or to collate data.

Not only this, but you’ll also feature in our extensive event marketing campaign. You can reach an active community of over 2.5 million across our social media platforms, 60,000 on our mailing list, and a reach of over 250,000 within the digital community. It really is a fantastic opportunity for businesses that are looking for growth and expansion.

7. Do you have any advice for those who are looking to start working in the events and hospitality industry? What sort of skills are needed and do you at Escape Records, offer any experience that could be of assistance?

Just do it! It’s a great community to be a part of. Live the life you love, love the life you live as Bob Marley said, and it’s so true. I don’t feel I work a day because I thoroughly enjoy my job. It’s great! We can offer advice for everyone in the event industry, we are always looking at helping out local businesses and if any company ever needs a hand with arranging an event or wants us to be a part of it, then we are always happy to get involved!

The true power of voice

Our voice is the most valuable tool in our arsenal – we can make positive change, make life-changing relationships and partnerships, and share our passions and beliefs. This is also true when it comes to networking and meeting new businesses – our voice, the way we project the sound, and the words we choose to speak really do hold the secret to success. Here, Introbiz is delighted to have collaborated with Amy Sinha Voiceover, to share our top tips on how you can use your voice to convey your message in the most productive and effective way.

Creates a personal connection
Using your voice effectively could mean the difference between securing a massive sale or international client. Used poorly and unclearly, and you could see frustration and complaints lying at your door. Communication allows you to connect with your audience, to share common interests, which should ultimately lead to greater trust. In both personal and professional relationships, smiling, speaking slowly, and clearly explaining your aims will certainly provide the best possible results for you and your connection and will allow conversations to flow naturally.

The importance of tone
Did you know that the tone we use when communicating is the most important aspect of effective communication? The tone of voice we use conveys meaning and allows our connection to understand and perceive exactly what message we’re trying to convey. Your tone can also mean the different between someone actually listening and engaging with you, or completely ignoring you which is neither productive or useful.

Tone can be quite hard to manage, especially when there are time constraints and other pressures to consider. The trick is to listen to yourself and ask yourself if you could use a more empathetic or positive tone – you could do this by recording your voice and listening to it, to really see if improvements can be made.

Using the correct tone for the right occasion is essential when it comes to voiceovers. Different scripts require different uses of tonality inflections, which can also change with pacing and speech volume. Tone can also make your audience truly listen and engage in your message otherwise you risk your audience not resonating and moving on to your competitors message loosing potential clients

A means of obtaining feedback
Offering honest feedback is vital to being able to improve, develop and progress. Verbal feedback allows for clarification, meaning relevant questions can be asked. Whilst providing this feedback, it’s vital to consider your tone of voice (as mentioned above), and ensure that what you have to say is constructive. Feedback should also be delivered in a timely and specific way so that it’s at the forefront of everyone’s mind.

The same theory applies when receiving feedback.  A lot of people get offended when receiving feedback simply because their delivery can be misinterpreted as criticism. To avoid misunderstandings, using the right speed and timbre through spoken delivery combined with sincerity and warmth, can alter a person’s perception on how easily feedback is digested in order to keep a happy working relationship and producing the desired results for productivity.

Revealing our authentic selves
We often portray different versions of ourselves for different occasions, but when it comes to representing who we truly are there is nothing more revealing than when we use our voice.  Whether consciously or not, human beings respond not only to what we see, but also to what we hear and first impressions count!  This can put a lot of pressure on how we speak and what we say.

We all want to be liked, to be funny, and entertaining so that people will want to get to know us and want to spend more time in our company.  But not all of us have the confidence, ability or articulation to speak out loud in a way that represents who they really are.  If you fit in to that category don’t despair, the more you place yourself out of your comfort zone and interact with new people, the more comfortable you will become with expressing your true self through your voice.

The voice to express yourself – Amy shares her experience
Being able to express yourself in the correct way is something a lot of people don’t really think about or if they do, they take these skills for granted, including myself, but using my voice wasn’t always easy for me.  After 35 years of vocal training starting with Classical singing, I have put in a lot of time, effort and practice to gain knowledge on how to use my voice effectively and overcome extreme confidence issues.

Projection has always come naturally to me but learning how to voice out loud what I mean by using the right inflections in the right situations took time and a lot of practice as well as my acceptance of often ‘getting it wrong’ and learning from that experience.  I had the honour recently of being asked to do a speaking duet and combine my voice talents with another voice over artist vocal stylings based in Canada. Only by focusing on nurturing and developing my own voice have I been able to collaborate and bring value with another voice artist to actively help bring an international advert to life!

Our voices really do hold the power to our own successes. By listening to feedback, considering the tone we use, and the words we choose to speak, we can make the connections and collaborations we’re looking for, to grow and develop, and to become experts within our industries.
