Calling all small business owners and entrepreneurs working in areas involving mental wellness–help us reach a count of 500 professionals who will join to provide 250 activities around the world in support of mental wellness.
The Seven Day Global Mental Wellness, Affirmation and Positivity Support event, which will be free to the public and at no or minimal cost to small business owners, is scheduled from the 12th to the 18th September, 2021. The event begins with National Day of Encouragement on 12th September, and with Positive Thinking Day on 13th September.
Like air, water, sleep and food, mental wellness is critical to human life. Still, countless children, teens, and adults are suffering, struggling to maintain their mental health. Many people start the journey to Mental Wellness only to stop, or pause, due to a lack of resources, proper care, and support.
Despite financial hardships both prior to and during the pandemic, millions of small business owners and entrepreneurs have committed to help by providing valuable products and services to the public that support mental wellness.
“We want to build a global event for mental wellness businesses to offer a week filled with an array of activities for the public, at no charge, in exchange for the opportunity to give back and shine a spotlight on their business,” said Elaine Sugar, event coordinator.
Each day throughout the week will feature a variety of activities (presentations, panels, forums, therapies, exercises, meditations, etc.) via multiple platforms including Clubhouse, Zoom, In-person, YouTube, Facebook Live, etc.
These activities will be offered free to the public (children, teens, and adults) to offer education, fun, stress relief, support, and make the public aware of mental wellness resources that are available.
Corporations and individuals who would like to support small businesses can help by sponsoring the event and patronizing the participating small businesses. This is also an opportunity to strengthen small business growth by creating this space for global networking with like-minded individuals in their field.
