Introbiz would like to give a warm welcome to 3SC (Third Sector Consortium). 3SC are a sector leading Social enterprise with a proven, quantifiable track record of exceptional contract management and performance delivery. They recently launched their position paper which set out how public services procurement needs to change in order to better utilise the smaller, specialised provider.
They provide Work Based assessments, consultancy and Business development support alongside a robust contract performance framework which helps to deliver quality and performance for commissioners whilst enabling the third sector to compete and grow in a marketplace that is often crowded by the large multi-nationals.
Guided by their progressive Social impact strategy and principles, they are committed to delivering economic and social improvement through professional, specialised and dedicated contract management with a keen eye for genuine, lasting social impact.
Work based assessments.
As a long-term provider of work based assessments on the world leading Access to Work contract, 3SC have the knowledge and expertise to offer a new service that can help more people on an enlarged offer.
The new Work Based Assessments offer is aimed at helping employers ensure their teams have the tools and training to do their job effectively.
Team members living with mental or physical health conditions or disabilities will often benefit from adapted technology and office furniture. The adaptions are often simple (though specialised) and require an expert assessor to make sure the help is correct at the first time of asking. This service eliminates unnecessary distress, delay and frustration caused by slow or repeated visits.
It is estimated that hiring for a vacancy position can cost in excess of £30,000 and so the retention of experienced, knowledgeable team members is more important than ever.
The employee will be met, assessed and will receive the full report back within 10 working days. Additional assistance is freely offered as part of the offer to make sure the equipment is installed, personalised and that training is provided to make sure they are used effectively.
The commitment to accessibility is supported by a curriculum of disability and health awareness training courses available from their knowledgeable and expert team of assessors.
The social, economic and ethical importance of their work is clear and evident in the recent launch of their position paper; ‘The crisis in public sector contracting and how to cure it’. The paper launched in Westminster and the Senedd late 2018 and is freely available from their website.
In sector development terms, they will be launching a comprehensive membership offer in February 2019 which will include a human resources and business development kit, consultancy services and preferred supplier status (amongst other things).
They also offer an innovative IT solution that comprises a bespoke ‘portal’ allowing live performance and contract management at a far lower cost than the ‘off the shelf’ platforms peddled by international IT firms.
3SC work closely with the local and national voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector to deliver growth, impact and genuine change through partnership, collaboration, discussion and consultancy.
They are an agile, dynamic and engaged team, looking to new, impactful partnerships and collaborations that can and will improve our communities in the future. If you are open to new partnerships, why not talk to them?
Keep up to date with them on Twitter, Linked-In and at their website.
