Introbiz, Cardiff’s leading business network are pleased to announce their sponsorship for the 2018 Cardiff event of The Regional Awards, which is now the biggest awards event for the region.
Being Wales’ largest professional business network, Introbiz have snapped up the sponsorship for two award categories; Innovation of the Year and the Creative Industry Award. Introbiz have over 300 members within their network and host a variety of business networking events throughout South Wales including the annual Introbiz Expo.
Introbiz was founded mid recession in 2009 by Tracey Smolinski. Once Tracey started networking she was able to generate over £100,000 of revenue in six months. Despite being a full-time mum, Tracey saw a gap in the market and created Introbiz, a company that brought businesses and their target audiences together in the right way. From this Tracey met her future husband Paul, and now both of them are running Introbiz to become one of the most respected business networks in South Wales.
The company has many local and international business members, such as Degu Media, Giovanni’s, University of South Wales and Lexus. Introbiz’s main event of the calendar year is the Introbiz Business Expo which is held annually at Cardiff’s Motorpoint arena. The event has over 5,000 visitors, 200 exhibitors and holds lectures by world renowned keynote speakers, which is Lord Sugar this year.
The decision to sponsor The Regional Awards highlights the couple’s dedication to local business. Both of their sponsorships, the Creative Industry Award and Innovation of the Year, is recognition of their journey and ability to inspire those within the business arena. Introbiz now work with some of the largest brands in the UK and an obvious choice to be nominated for both awards.
There are over 20 categories to be awarded in with over 200 entries. Voting for The Regional Awards are open until the 18th March at TheRegionalAwards.com. Judging will follow, taking place between the 18th March and 17th April. The awards ceremony will take place on the 18th April at the Mercure Hotel on Newport Road, featuring a night of entertainment and a red-carpet entry.
