On Tuesday, 29th January, Introbiz will be celebrating its 10th year!
On this day ten years ago, Tracey launched what is now Wales’ leading professional business network. The very first event was held back in January 2009 at the Novotel hotel in Cardiff. There were 170 people at the launch and they were queuing outside the door! Introbiz even had 26 members before the pre-launch event, giving the network credibility and a solid foundation for future growth.
Since meeting Paul in 2010 and persuading him to join the business, Introbiz really has grown to the next level. The introduction of the Expo which has since grown to be Wales’ biggest business event, a great team and fun experiences has all contributed to the business’ continuous success.
Over the last 10 years, the network has generated millions of pounds’ worth of business, hosted hundreds of events, power groups, socials at all sorts of exciting and unique venues, monthly ladies lunches and informative business clubs. Events have been hosted at Hugo Boss, at Lexus Cardiff, Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant and we even closed a Cardiff arcade to host an event after hours. The network has connected thousands of businesses and in turn, we’ve assisted with giving advice and guidance and absolutely love seeing and helping businesses.
The future for Introbiz is extremely exciting. With the launch of the company franchise, even more unique events planned and plans for extensive growth.
The Introbiz Expo is also an annual date in the diary that everyone looks forward to. Welcoming thousands of visitors, hundreds of exhibitors and world-renowned keynote speakers and entrepreneurs, the Expo really is a date for the diary.
Tracey said; “I’ll be honest – I didn’t know a great deal about business when I launched Introbiz. I’d worked in sales and advertising so actually running a business was a completely different kettle of fish. I was nervous to take the leap but just decided to put my all into it. It was tough deciding to launch in the middle of a recession but it turns out that it was the best decision I ever made!
“I cannot believe how quickly the last decade has gone. I’ve been through some tough times but the good far outweighs this. As a business, we’ve grown significantly, met thousands of incredible businesses, entrepreneurs and acquaintances.
“I’d like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the support, advice, and guidance that I’ve received. We’re incredibly grateful and can’t wait for the next 10 years!”
To celebrate, we’re hosting a party at the Novotel Cardiff on Thursday, 7th February 2019. This is an invitation only event – guests should receive their invitations shortly. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all.
