Experiences
If you’re looking for that perfect gift for a loved one, or your first helicopter experience, then Hover Helicopters is the ideal place to go. Charter
With years of experience and highly trained pilots, let Hover Helicopters take care of your helicopter needs. Hover can provide a comfortable, efficient and convenient helicopter charter service for private individuals or groups travelling to business meetings, sporting events or special occasions.
Training
Trail lessons all start with a half hour briefing from a fully qualified instructor where they explain all of the principles of helicopter flight and show you the various components of the aircraft. You will be sat in the helicopter and will take off for a flight around the local area. Your instructor will show you each of the controls and give you the opportunity to take control of the aircraft. Any time flown within the aircraft can be used towards the hours required to gain a private pilot licence.
Hover Helicopters’ partners have been training pilots for over 15 years, with many going on to have flying careers within the Oil and Gas sectors of the North Sea, and as Air Ambulance pilots. Hover Challenge
The Hover Challenge not only allows you to experience the hover during a flight, it also allows you to take the controls and have a go at hovering the aircraft yourself. Your instructor will demonstrate each of the helicopters controls during the first 20 minutes of your flight, with the last 10 minutes dedicated to your challenge.
In addition to your experience, you will also be assisting us in raising money towards Wales Air Ambulance, as for every Hover Challenge flight sold, Hover Helicopters will donate a percentage of the profit to the charity.
