218 Events are hosting a very exciting event with former Welsh rugby captain and all-round gentleman, Sam Warburton.
Following his international debut against the USA in 2009, the former Cardiff Blue went on to win 74 Wales caps. He also surpassed Ryan Jones’ 33 cap record as Wales’ captain with 49 caps.
During a prestigious career that was sadly cut short due to injury, Warburton will go down as one of the best Welsh rugby players in history, and bows out with a glittering CV that includes leading Wales to Grand Slam and Six Nations glory, two Rugby World Cups and captaining the Lions to a series win and draw (Australia and New Zealand).
During this exciting event, we’ll discuss that red card, his successes, injuries and Wales’ Rugby World Cup 2019 campaign. The evening includes a two-course meal, and a drinks reception and the event is supporting Noah’s Ark charity. There are also sponsorship opportunities available.
