Open Day at Construction Skills Training Limited is being held on 8th July at Construction Skills Training Centre in Caerphilly.

During the day you will have a chance to have a tour of the centre to see what is delivered on a daily basis. We have a variety of bays which are used to train groups and individuals and throughout the day various demonstrations will be taking place to highlight the areas we cover. There will be food and refreshments available throughout the day with break out rooms on hand for any questions you may have about the courses and skill build programmes we offer. The day will start at 12am and finish at 8pm, this gives people chance to visit after working hours. The Demonstrations will be as follows:

·         12pm – Plastering

·         1pm – Wall & Floor Tiling

·         2pm – Painting & Decorating

·         3pm – Plastering

·         4pm – Wall & Floor Tiling

·         5pm – Painting & Decorating

·         6pm – Plastering

·         7pm – Wall & Floor Tiling

There will also be Skill Build trainees on site to show how they have been getting on with the training and on hand to answer any questions you may have. You will also be given a free information pack to take away with you.
The day will be interactive, practical, informative and most of all, FUN!  If you do wish to attend the Open Day could you please express your interest via email and I can send further information out closer to the time.

South Wales Business Awards 2010
 

 

It's time for the South Wales Business Awards. It seems as if it was only a few weeks ago that we were celebrating the winners of 2009, on what was a great night for the South Wales Business Community.

This year's awards are being held at the Bear Hotel on Friday the 1st
October 2010, and will be hosted by one of Welsh television and radio's most popular presenters - Sara Edwards. 

Applications for the awards will be accepted from Monday 17th May 2010.
Closing date for applications is Friday 16th July 2010, with nominations
being announced on Monday 26th July 2010.

Nominations will be posted on this blog at 9am on the 26th July, as well as nominees being notified by e-mail.

The winner of the South Wales Business Awards
2010, will also receive a full business review from a Centre for Enterprise, University of Glamorgan academic (valued at over £1,000).
